EXAMPLE FEED
REAL ONE RUNS OCT 17

How a season works.

§ 2.1 The Challenge Sealed until the clock starts. A real deliverable, and where possible a real client whose problem it solves.
§ 2.2 The Make Any tools, any models, all of it disclosed in a build log that travels with the submission. Concealment is the only tool offense.
§ 2.3 The Audit Your team receives someone else's work and verifies its claims, then signs the findings and answers for them.
§ 2.4 The Defense Live questioning from judges and auditors. Honest uncertainty scores; confident nonsense collapses.
§ 2.5 The Red-Team Round An opposing team tries to break your work in front of you, within published bounds. You respond in real time.

Awards for champions, and for the Verifier's Prize, Best Honest Failure, and real client impact (§ 2.6). Many ways to matter.

Anyone can prompt. Almost nobody can defend.

  • [✓]Compete for your school
  • [✓]Community teams welcome: robotics, clubs, homeschool co-ops
  • [✓]Awards colleges can't ignore

This is where you prove you're actually good: build something real, get grilled live, and take a title nobody can say a chatbot earned. And even if you never take a title, every event adds to your individual defense record (§ 4.5): defenses survived, career honesty score, red-team accuracy, verification accuracy. Yours, portable, cumulative.

Who runs this, plainly.

MADE was founded by a fifteen-year-old student in Michigan. We say that up front. It is a league built by the people it assesses, with adults where the rules require them (§ 6.3). Teachers get the version of this page written for them at /advisors.

  • [✓]Independent by charter: AI-tool vendors cannot sponsor, name, or influence any event, round, or award. § 6.1
  • [✓]Everything needed to compete is free. The league never requires purchases. § 6.2
  • [✓]No sanctioned event runs without a fiscal sponsor, insurance, and named adult officers. That is chartered rule, not policy (§ 6.3). No sanctioned events exist yet, and no money moves anywhere in this league.
